Are you hurting after abortion? You’re Not Alone.

Studies show that 25% of American women will have had an abortion by the age of 45.

Many women and men need help after the abortion experience. There can be negative emotions and even physical symptoms experienced (whether it’s immediately, weeks, months or years later). It’s important to take the time to work through these as they can impact your feelings, thoughts, relationships, behaviors, attitudes, and hope for your future.

We have on-going virtual and on-site support groups. This is a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment led by individuals who have been where you are. In these sessions, we offer practical tools to help you navigate your feelings and move forward toward healing and restoration. You will be encouraged, equipped and supported during this difficult time.

Common Emotions

Common Symptoms 

  • Suicidal thoughts 
  • Self-destructive activities (alcohol/drug abuse, eating disorders) 
  • Difficulty in maintaining or developing relationships 
  • Difficulty sleeping, insomnia, and/or nightmares 
  • Emotional deadening, feeling less in touch with or a need to stuff emotions 
  • Triggered by pregnant women, babies, children, and baby showers 
  • Increase in anger or rage 
  • Fear of future relationships and pregnancy
  • Difficulties with intimacy and trust
